In our middle school ministry we're going through the Bible chronologically. This week we'll be looking at the story of Joseph. This week's reading was riveting. I think I forgot how compassionate Joseph was toward his brothers. And to think that he didn't even have what we have--the incarnation and physical example of Jesus to follow. Joseph followed God...and found God's heart in the middle of Egypt. Wow.
Each week, I'll be posting some worship songs that would go along well with the story of the Scripture. Feel free to watch together with your family. Load them up on your iPod. Listen as you read. Thanks to Zondervan for providing churches with such an incredible resource in The Story. I'm stoked.
