Kirra taught me a little lesson in persistence today. She proved to me that it's somewhat innate (since she is only 10 months old). She was walking toward something that could have been dangerous, so I picked her up. She didn't want to be held and swatted at my face with her hand. I grabbed her hand and said "no". I let go...then wham, she swung again. I grabbed her hand in the same way, but before I could say no again she looked me in the eye, paused, and then head butted me...hard.
I took away her hand, she used her head. In a way I was proud of her for being creative...I'll try to remember this sweet blessing when she is 13 :)
